The Season's Finest Wine Collection

I'm David Woodward, your trusted wine merchant of 45 years.

Today, I'm thrilled to present a selection of remarkable wines that encapsulate the essence of the season. Allow me to introduce you to our collection.

First up, is the Domaine Nizas Clos Rouge 2021. This wine is a true testament to the harvest's bounty, featuring notes of blackberries, baked plums, and a cassis nose that leads to a medium tannin structure. Crafted with organically grown grapes, it boasts a full-bodied, velvety smooth profile.

Moving on, we have the Les Salices 2022 Sauvignon Blanc, a jewel from the Carcassonne region in South-West France. This is no ordinary Sauvignon Blanc; it's an elegant, limited-edition wine that shines with cleanliness, crispness, and dryness. On the nose, you'll discover delightful gooseberry notes, and in the glass, a youthful green hue, signifying its vibrant freshness. This wine is exceptionally easy to drink and a true testament to the art of winemaking.

Next up is the Catchpole & Co. 2021 Chardonnay, a wine that epitomizes easy sophistication. This un-oaked Chardonnay dazzles with its bright and clean flavours, expertly blended for integration and freshness. The 2020 vintage showcases a remarkable complexity of acidity, fruitiness, depth, and minerality—a true gem without the hefty price tag. And let me be clear, this Chardonnay is not just for a single glass; it beckons you to savour the entire bottle, or perhaps three!

Last but by no means least, the Catchpole & Co. 2021 Syrah. This wine is a symphony of richness, boasting juicy, and plummy flavours—a brilliant Syrah from the renowned Stellenbosch region in South Africa. It's a classic beauty, a mouthful of wine that will captivate your senses and leave you yearning for another sip.
